Hadith 12843

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”الْآيَاتُ خَرَزَاتٌ مَنْظُومَاتٌ فِي سِلْكٍ فَإِنْ يَقْطَعِ السِّلْكَ يَتْبَعُ بَعْضُهَا بَعْضًا“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The signs of the Day of Judgment are like beads threaded on a string; when the string breaks, they fall one after another.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … When the signs of the Day of Judgment begin to appear, they will start manifesting one after another in quick succession. The evils that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has counted among the signs of the Day of Judgment also soon became apparent, one after the other, in various regions, such as the widespread prevalence of usury (riba), adultery (zina), alcohol, severing of family ties, and false testimony, the concealment of true testimony, and greeting only specific people.
