عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”إِنَّكُمْ سَتَفْتَحُونَ مِصْرَ وَهِيَ أَرْضٌ يُسَمَّى فِيهَا الْقِيرَاطُ فَإِذَا فَتَحْتُمُوهَا فَأَحْسِنُوا إِلَى أَهْلِهَا فَإِنَّ لَهُمْ ذِمَّةً وَرَحِمًا أَوْ قَالَ ذِمَّةً وَصِهْرًا فَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ رَجُلَيْنِ يَخْتَصِمَانِ فِيهَا فِي مَوْضِعِ لَبِنَةٍ فَاخْرُجْ مِنْهَا“ قَالَ فَرَأَيْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ حَسَنَةَ وَأَخَاهُ رَبِيعَةَ يَخْتَصِمَانِ فِي مَوْضِعِ لَبِنَةٍ فَخَرَجْتُ مِنْهَا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Soon you will conquer Egypt, it is the land where the qirat is used. When you conquer it, treat its people well, for they have protection and they have a relationship of kinship with me. And when you see two men there fighting over a piece of land as small as a brick, then leave that place. I saw Sharjeel bin Hasanah and his brother Rabee’ah fighting over a piece of land as small as a brick, so I left that place.

Benefits: … The mother of Isma'il alayhis salam, Sayyidah Hajar radi Allahu anha, was from among the people of Egypt, and the mother of your (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) son, Sayyiduna Ibrahim radi Allahu anhu, Sayyidah Mariyah radi Allahu anha, was also from among the people of Egypt.
