It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: Once we were sitting in the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), compiling the written portions of the Noble Qur'an on various materials. At that moment, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Glad tidings for Syria!" Someone asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Why is that?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Allah's angels have spread their wings over it."
