Hadith 12716

عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ”الْإِيمَانُ فِي أَهْلِ الْحِجَازِ وَغِلَظُ الْقُلُوبِ وَالْجَفَاءُ فِي الْفَدَّادِينَ فِي أَهْلِ الْمَشْرِقِ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: True faith is among the people of Hijaz, and the hardness and severity of hearts is among the owners of camels of the East.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Hijaz is that part of Arabia which comprises Makkah al-Mukarramah, Madinah al-Munawwarah, and Ta’if. The majority of those personalities who became renowned for their faith and conviction, and who, in fact, nourished the tree of Islam with the blood of their hearts, were connected to Hijaz.
By “the East” is meant the land of Iraq.
