It is narrated from Yazid bin Abi Ubaid, he says: I used to come to the Prophet’s Mosque with Sayyiduna Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him), he used to pray near the pillar close to the Mushaf. I said to him: Abu Muslim! I see that you are particular about praying near this pillar, what is the reason for this? He replied: I saw Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) being particular about praying near this pillar.
