البابُ السَّابِعُ فِيمَا جَاءَ فِي خَرَابِ الْمَدِينَةِ آخِرَ الزَّمَانِThe seventh chapter regarding what has come about the ruin of Madinah at the end of time
Hadith 12668

(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ آخَرَ) يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلْمَدِينَةِ: ”لَتَتْرُكَنَّهَا عَلَى خَيْرِ مَا كَانَتْ مُذَلَّلَةً لِلْعَوَافِي يَعْنِي السِّبَاعَ وَالطَّيْرَ“
(Second chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said regarding Madinah: "You people will leave this city for the beasts and birds, despite your prosperity."
