عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْقَرَّاظِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: أَشْهَدُ الثَّلَاثَ عَلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ: ”مَنْ أَرَادَ أَهْلَ الْبَلْدَةِ بِسُوءٍ يَعْنِي أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ، أَذَابَهُ اللَّهُ كَمَا يَذُوبُ الْمِلْحُ فِي الْمَاءِ.“
It is narrated from Abu Abdullah Qaraz, who says: I testify three times before Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said that Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever intends to treat the people of Madinah badly, Allah will destroy him as salt dissolves in water.
