وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ آخَرَ أَنَّهُ جَاءَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ لَيَالِيَ الْحَرَّةِ فَاسْتَشَارَهُ فِي الْجَلَاءِ عَنِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ وَزَادَ بَعْدَ قَوْلِهِ كُنْتُ لَهُ شَفِيعًا أَوْ شَهِيدًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِذَا كَانَ مُسْلِمًا
. (Second chain) Abu Sa'id went to Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) during the days of the Harrah incident and consulted him about migrating from Madinah, and narrated the incident mentioned in the above hadith. In the end, it is stated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I will be an intercessor or a witness on the Day of Resurrection on behalf of the one (who endures the hardships and calamities that befall in Madinah), provided that he is a Muslim.
