It is narrated from Jabir bin Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When the call to prayer is made, the gates of the heavens are opened and supplication is accepted.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The calling for prayer refers to the adhan (call to prayer). This meaning is supported by the following corroborating narration of this hadith: Sayyiduna Anas radi Allahu anhu reports that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “When the call to prayer (adhan) is given, the gates of the heavens are opened and supplications are answered.” (Narrated by al-Tayalisi: 2106, Abu Ya‘la: 4072, al-Tabarani in al-Du‘a: 485, and al-Baghawi: 428 with two weak chains of narration)
