It is narrated from Abdullah bin Abbad Zarqi that he was hunting birds near the Ihab well, which was his own well. He says: Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) saw me there while I had caught a bird. He snatched it from me and set it free and said: Dear son! The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has declared the area between the two Harrahs of Madinah as a sanctuary (Haram) just as Ibrahim (peace be upon him) declared Makkah as a sanctuary.
