وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا قَالَ لَوْ رَأَيْتُ الْأُرْوِيَّ تَجُوسُ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا يَعْنِي الْمَدِينَةَ مَا هِجْتُهَا وَلَا مَسَسْتُهَا وَذَلِكَ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”يُحَرِّمُ شَجَرَهَا أَنْ يُخْبَطَ أَوْ يُعْضَدَ“
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, who says: If I see wild goats roaming between the two Harrahs of Madinah, I would neither scare nor threaten them, nor would I touch them, because I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, declaring it forbidden to shake or cut its trees.
