It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) declared the area between the two Harrahs of Madinah as a sanctuary (Haram). Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: If I find deer between these two Harrahs, I would neither frighten nor scare them away, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had declared twelve miles around Madinah as a sanctuary (Haram).
