Hadith 12581

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The Banu Mudar will strike the servants of Allah to such an extent that there will remain no name of anyone worshipping Allah. Then, surely, the people of faith will strike them in such a way that they will be humiliated and disgraced.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: ... The meaning of "dhanab" is the lower place, and "tal‘ah" refers to that place in the flow of water where water runs from a higher to a lower point.
The meaning of "hatta la yamna‘u dhanaba tal‘atin" is that the tribe will become humiliated and disgraced, and there will be no one to care for them. According to some, the word "tal‘ah" is used for both elevated and low land.
