It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Bedouin presented a she-camel as a gift to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him six she-camels in return, yet he still remained displeased. When this news reached the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he praised and glorified Allah, and then said: "Such-and-such a man presented me a she-camel as a gift, even though it was my own she-camel. I recognized it just as I recognize my own family. It had slipped from my hands on the day of the battle of Zughaba. Nevertheless, I gave him six she-camels in return, but he still remained displeased. Now I have decided that I will not accept any gift from anyone except a Qurayshi, Ansari, Thaqafi, or Dosi."
