Hadith 12566

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: May Allah keep Banu Aslam safe, and may He forgive Banu Ghifar, and 'Usayyah has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In this hadith, by supplicating for both the tribes of Salim and Ghifar, their virtues have been expressed. Both these tribes embraced Islam without any fighting. Since the tribe of Ghifar was accused of stealing from the pilgrims, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam supplicated for their forgiveness.
