(Second chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin Abasah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was inspecting horses, and Uyainah bin Hisn bin Hudhayfah bin Badr Fazari was also with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Uyainah: I have more understanding about horses than you. Uyainah replied: And I have more understanding about people than you, O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: How is that? He said: The best people are the people of Najd, who carry their swords on their shoulders and place their spears on the necks of their horses. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You are wrong; the best people are the people of Yemen, and the best faith is the faith of the people of Yemen. I am also originally from Yemen, and on the Day of Resurrection, the people of Banu Madhhij will be more in Paradise than all other tribes, and the tribe of Hadramaut is better than the tribe of Banu Harith, and I do not care at all if both tribes perish. Sovereignty and kingship belong only to Allah, the Exalted. May Allah curse the four kings—Jumda’, Shuraha’, Makhusa’, and Abda’ah—and their sister Amardah.
