It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a marriage proposal to Sayyida Umm Hani bint Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with her), but she said: O Messenger of Allah! I have become old and there are children in my care. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The best women who ride camels are the women of Quraysh; they are extremely kind to their children in their childhood and are very protective of their husbands’ wealth. Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Sayyida Maryam bint Imran never rode a camel.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … It is understood that these two qualities of a wife are extremely important: being compassionate towards the children and safeguarding the trusts of the husband. And it is precisely these two qualities due to which peace and security prevail in the home, and the members of that household attain a lofty status. These are the very two traits on the basis of which the women of Quraysh have been praised.
