It is narrated from Abdullah bin Huzail, he says: Sayyiduna Amr bin Al-Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) used to take great care of us. Someone from the tribe of Bakr bin Wa'il said: If the Quraysh do not desist from their actions, this authority will be taken from them and will pass to other Arab tribes. Upon hearing this, Sayyiduna Amr bin Al-Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: You are wrong. I myself heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say that whether it is a good deed or a bad one, in every matter until the Day of Judgment, the Quraysh will remain the leaders of the people.
