الْبَابُ الأَوَّلُ فِي إِكْرَامِ قُرَيْشٍ وَعَدْمِ إِهَانَتِهِمْ أَوْ سَبُّھِمْThe first chapter regarding honoring Quraysh and not insulting or reviling them
Hadith 12538

وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ قَالَ قَالَ لِي أَبِي يَا بُنَيَّ إِنْ وَلِيتَ مِنْ أَمْرِ النَّاسِ شَيْئًا فَأَكْرِمْ قُرَيْشًا فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ”مَنْ أَهَانَ قُرَيْشًا أَهَانَهُ اللَّهُ“
It is narrated from Amr bin Uthman bin Affan, he says: My father said to me: Dear son! If you ever get the opportunity to rule over people, honor the Quraysh. I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Whoever insults the Quraysh, Allah will humiliate and disgrace him.
