It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Anas al-Juhani that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: My Ummah will remain steadfast upon the Shari'ah until these three things become apparent among them: (1) the disappearance of knowledge, (2) the abundance of adultery, that is, illegitimate children, and (3) the appearance of Saqqaroon. Sayyiduna Mu'adh, may Allah be pleased with him, asked: O Messenger of Allah! Who are meant by Saqqaroon? He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: In the last era, such people will appear who, instead of greeting each other with peace, will curse one another when they meet.
