الْبَابُ الثَّالِثُ فِي بَقَاءِ طَائِفَةٍ مِنَ الْأُمَّةِ الْمُحَمَّدِيَّةِ ثابِتَةِ عَلَى الْحَقِّ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِThe third chapter regarding the persistence of a group from the Muhammadan nation firmly upon the truth until the Day of Resurrection
Hadith 12494

عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الْحَقِّ ظَاهِرِينَ لِعَدُوِّهِمْ قَاهِرِينَ لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَالَفَهُمْ إِلَّا مَا أَصَابَهُمْ مِنْ لَأْوَاءَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهُمْ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ وَهُمْ كَذَلِكَ“ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَأَيْنَ هُمْ قَالَ ”بِبَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ وَأَكْنَافِ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ“
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A group from my Ummah will remain steadfast on the religion and dominant over their enemies until the Day of Judgment. Those who oppose them will not be able to harm them in any way, except that they may face some economic hardship, until the command of Allah comes while they are in that state. The Companions asked: O Messenger of Allah! Where will they be? He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: They will be in Bayt al-Maqdis and its surrounding areas.
