عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ مَا رَأَيْتُ إِمَامًا أَشْبَهَ بِصَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِمَامِكُمْ هَذَا لِعُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَهُوَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَكَانَ عُمَرُ لَا يُطِيلُ الْقِرَاءَةَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I have not seen anyone among your leaders who performed prayer like the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) more than this Imam of yours. Umar bin Abdul Aziz did not recite long (portions) in prayer.

Benefits: … ‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-‘Aziz rahimahullah was a virtuous person from among the Banu Umayyah. Due to his piety, righteousness, and excellent character, the esteemed scholars have referred to him with the honorable title of "Rightly Guided Caliph" (Khalifah Rashid).
