Hadith 12444

وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ غَالِبٍ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ لِلْأَشْتَرِ أَنْتَ الَّذِي أَرَدْتَ قَتْلَ ابْنِ أُخْتِي قَالَ قَدْ حَرَصْتُ عَلَى قَتْلِهِ وَحَرَصَ عَلَى قَتْلِي قَالَتْ أَوَمَا عَلِمْتَ مَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”لَا يَحِلُّ دَمُ رَجُلٍ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ ارْتَدَّ أَوْ تَرَكَ الْإِسْلَامَ أَوْ زَنَى بَعْدَمَا أُحْصِنَ أَوْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ“
. (Second chain) It is narrated from ‘Urwah bin Ghalib that Sayyidah ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said to Ashtar: Are you the one who intended to kill my nephew? He said: Yes, I was eager to kill him and he wanted to kill me. She said: Do you not know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is not permissible in any case to shed the blood of a Muslim except if he becomes an apostate, or commits adultery while being married, or unjustly kills a Muslim.
