It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Rafi’ that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him: Soon there will be a dispute between you and Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her. Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, said: O Messenger of Allah! Will it be me? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Yes. He asked again: O Messenger of Allah! Will it be me? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Yes. He said: O Messenger of Allah! Then I will be the most unfortunate of all. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: No, it is not so. Just when such a situation arises, ensure that Aisha reaches her place of safety.
