عَنْ سِمَاكٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ”لَيَفْتَحَنَّ رَهْطٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ كُنُوزَ كِسْرَى الَّتِي“ قَالَ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ”الَّذِي بِالْأَبْيَضِ“ قَالَ جَابِرٌ فَكُنْتُ فِيهِمْ فَأَصَابَنِي أَلْفُ دِرْهَمٍ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A group of Muslims will certainly, certainly conquer the treasures of Kisra. Abu Nu’aim, the narrator, added in his narration: those treasures which are in his white palaces. Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I was also among those who conquered those treasures, and one thousand dirhams came to my share.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … During the caliphate of Sayyiduna Umar radi Allahu anhu, this prophecy of the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was also fulfilled, and the Muslims took possession of the treasures of Persia.
