It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not perform prayer at the time of sunrise, because it rises between the two horns of Satan and at that time the disbelievers prostrate to it, and do not perform prayer at the time of sunset, because it sets between the two horns of Satan and at that time the disbelievers prostrate to it, and do not perform prayer at midday, that is, at the time of zenith, because at that time Hell is kindled.
