It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever withdraws from obedience to the Imam and the ruler, and separates from the community of Muslims, and dies in that state, he dies the death of ignorance. Whoever fights under a blind banner, becoming angry due to tribalism and supporting others due to tribalism, and is killed in that state, his killing is also like that of the days of ignorance. And whoever comes out in rebellion against my Ummah, striking the righteous and the wicked alike, not sparing the believers nor fulfilling the covenant with those he has a covenant with, then he has nothing to do with me and I have nothing to do with him.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Whoever abandons obedience to the Imam, distances himself from the Islamic community, and opposes the unity and agreement of the Muslims, and dies in this state, then he dies a death of ignorance (jahiliyyah), because at that time too he was like an unbridled camel, and even now he remains so.
In this era, familial partisanship and tribal pride are at their peak; friendship and alliance for the sake of Allah Ta'ala have become rare. There are entanglements of politics, entanglements of nationalism, entanglements of old relationships, and claims of false affections. By getting caught up in these entanglements and putting truth and falsehood behind, arrows and bows are exchanged, years upon years pass in severed relations, and in some families, enmity and rancor have reached such a level that perhaps even enemies formed in the name of Islam and disbelief would be ashamed in comparison.
Honored readers! Come, and live in the name of Islam; consider this life your honor and the station of your humanity. The other matters mentioned in the hadith are clear.
