Hadith 12049

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty grants a servant authority over a small or large group of people; on the Day of Resurrection, He will question him regarding them—whether he implemented Allah’s command among them or not. He will even specifically question him about his family.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In our country, every problem that arises is considered to be the fault of the rulers, rather than a test from Allah Ta‘ala or the consequence of our own actions. Everyone, in their own estimation, considers themselves a perfect human being, and all the mud of problems is being thrown onto others. In such circumstances, neither do conditions improve nor does the soul find peace.
