It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Qais (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: My son passed away, and I was extremely grieved over him. I said to the one who was to bathe him, "Do not kill my son by washing him with cold water." Then her brother, Sayyid Akasha bin Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with him), went and informed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) of what she had said. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) smiled at this and said: "What did she say? May her life be long." Abu al-Hasan says: To my knowledge, no woman lived as long as she did.
