Hadith 11977

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) met Sayyidah Asma bint Umais (may Allah be pleased with her), so he said: "You are very good people, but the thing is that people migrated before you and we are superior to you." Sayyidah Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "You people were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), whenever you did not know something, the Messenger of Allah would teach you, and if any of you did not have a mount, the Messenger of Allah would provide him with a mount, while we fled to save our religion." Anyway, I will definitely go to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and mention this matter to him. So she went and mentioned all of Sayyiduna Umar's (may Allah be pleased with him) words to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will have the reward of two migrations, one towards Abyssinia and one towards Madinah."

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Sayyidah Asma bint Umais radi Allahu anha is the maternal sister of Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyidah Maymunah bint al-Harith, and she is the paternal, maternal, or full sister of many other female Companions (sahabiyyat). She accepted Islam before the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam entered the house of Arqam, and she migrated to Abyssinia (Habasha) with Sayyiduna Ja’far ibn Abi Talib radi Allahu anhu, where she gave birth to Abdullah, Muhammad, and Awn. In the Battle of Mu’tah, Sayyiduna Ja’far radi Allahu anhu was martyred. After him, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr radi Allahu anhu married her, and she bore him a son named Muhammad. After him, Sayyiduna Ali radi Allahu anhu married her, and from him she bore Awn and Yahya.
