Kunya (Honorific Titles)
بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِى وَاسْمُهُ عَبْدُ بنُ قَيْس رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُChapter on What Has Been Narrated Regarding Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, whose name is Abd ibn Qays, may Allah be pleased with him

وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ صَوْتَ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ فَقَالَ ”لَقَدْ أُوتِيَ أَبُو مُوسَى مِنْ مَزَامِيرِ آلِ دَاوُدَ“
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) heard Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) reciting (the Qur'an), so he said: "Abu Musa has indeed been given a melodious voice like that of the family of Dawud."
