بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ الْجَرَّاحِ أَمِيْنِ هَذِهِ الأمة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُChapter on What Has Been Narrated Regarding Abu Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah, the Trustworthy One of This Ummah, may Allah be pleased with him
Hadith 11943

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَيُّ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ قَالَتْ أَبُو بَكْرٍ قُلْتُ ثُمَّ مَنْ قَالَتْ ثُمَّ عُمَرُ قُلْتُ ثُمَّ مَنْ قَالَتْ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ قُلْتُ ثُمَّ مَنْ قَالَ فَسَكَتَتْ
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Shaqiq, he says: I asked Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her): Which companion was most beloved to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? She said: Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). I asked: Who was beloved after him? She said: Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). I said: After him? She said: Sayyiduna Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah (may Allah be pleased with him). I asked: Who after him? But this time she remained silent.
