بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي عَمْرُو بْن عَبَسَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ وَكُنتُهُ أَبُو نَجِيْحٍ وَهُوَ رَابِعُ أَرْبَعَةٍ فِي الْإِسْلَامِChapter on What Has Been Narrated Regarding Amr ibn Abasah, may Allah be pleased with him, whose nickname was Abu Najih, and he was the fourth of four in Islam
Hadith 11863

وَعَنْ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ السُّلَمِيِّ يَعْنِي عَمْرَو بْنَ عَبَسَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ حَاصَرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِصْنَ الطَّائِفِ فَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ ”مَنْ بَلَغَ بِسَهْمٍ فَلَهُ دَرَجَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ“ قَالَ فَبَلَغْتُ يَوْمَئِذٍ سِتَّةَ عَشَرَ سَهْمًا
Abu Najeeh Sayyiduna Amr bin Abasah Salami (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: He says, We besieged the fort of Ta’if in the company of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). During this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever shoots an arrow at the enemy in the way of Allah, he will receive one rank in Paradise. Sayyiduna Amr bin Abasah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I shot sixteen arrows that day.
