It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Amr bin Jamuh (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and submitted: O Messenger of Allah! What do you think, if I am martyred fighting in the way of Allah, will I be able to walk properly in Paradise with this leg of mine? In fact, he was lame in one leg. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes, absolutely. Then he, his nephew Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Haram (may Allah be pleased with him), and one of his slaves—all three were martyred in the Battle of Uhud. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by them and said: It is as if I am seeing you walking properly in Paradise with this leg of yours. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that all three be buried in a single grave.
