It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: When my father was martyred, I began to remove the cloth from his face. People tried to stop me from doing so, but the Messenger of Allah did not stop me. My paternal aunt, Sayyida Fatimah bint Amr (may Allah be pleased with her), began to weep. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not weep, or weep not; as long as you have not lifted this deceased, the angels have kept him under their shade.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The intent of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was that since, after martyrdom, he has already attained this rank, then what is the benefit of weeping? For true happiness lies in success in the Hereafter.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Haram radi Allahu anhu was an Ansari from the Khazraj tribe and a renowned Companion. He also participated in the Pledge of Aqabah and the Battle of Badr, and in fact, he was among the leaders (nuqaba) of the Pledge of Aqabah.
