عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ”أَوْجَبَ طَلْحَةُ حِينَ صَنَعَ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا صَنَعَ“ يَعْنِي حِينَ بَرَكَ لَهُ طَلْحَةُ فَصَعِدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Because of what Talha has done with the Messenger of Allah, he has made (Paradise) certain for himself." This refers to the time when Sayyiduna Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) sat down for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) climbed onto his back.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … On the day of Uhud, the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) wished to climb a rock, while he (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was wearing two coats of mail, so he (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was unable to climb the rock. When Sayyiduna Talhah (radi Allahu anhu) saw this situation, he sat down beneath him (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), and the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) placed his foot upon him until he climbed the rock.
