It is narrated from Sayyiduna Dhirar bin Azwar (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I presented myself before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: Extend your hand so that I may pledge allegiance to Islam at your hand. Then I recited these verses before you: I have abandoned the arrows of fortune-telling and the songs of singing women in order to seek forgiveness for sins and to express humility before Allah Almighty. And by riding my horse named Muhabbir, I have also abandoned the killings and plundering of the age of ignorance, and now I attack against the polytheists. O Lord, if I find loss in this bargain of mine, I have left my wealth and all my family for the sake of Islam. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Dhirar! You have not done a loss-making deed in this trade of yours.
