It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa’ib bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from the Battle of Tabuk, I went along with other children to welcome him at Thaniyyatul Wada. Sufyan, the narrator, once narrated it as follows: Sa’ib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I remember the incident of your (peace and blessings be upon him) arrival, when you (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from Tabuk.
