It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zubair bin Al-Awwam, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said to his son Abdullah: My beloved son! By Allah! The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to address me mentioning his parents and would say: May my parents be sacrificed for you.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Great indeed is the status of that distinguished individual whom the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) addresses in such a manner that he (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) declares his own parents to be sacrificed for him. However, there are also examples of some other Companions (radi Allahu anhum) regarding whom the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said the same—that his (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) parents be sacrificed for them.
