It is narrated from Zur bin Jish that Ibn Jurmuz sought permission to come to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). He inquired: Who is it? The people informed him that Ibn Jurmuz is seeking permission to enter. Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Let him come in; the killer of Zubair will surely, indeed, be consigned to Hell. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say this, and then he narrated a hadith similar to the previous one.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In the Battle of Jamal, Sayyiduna Zubair radi Allahu anhu was opposed to Sayyiduna Ali radi Allahu anhu. When the two met, Sayyiduna Ali radi Allahu anhu reminded Sayyiduna Zubair radi Allahu anhu of this hadith: The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, “O Zubair! Beware! You will go out in opposition to Ali and you will fight him, while you will be the oppressor.” Upon hearing this, Sayyiduna Zubair radi Allahu anhu refrained from fighting and turned back from there. Amr ibn Jurmuz found him in the Valley of Saba‘ and killed him deceitfully. Then he brought his sword and head to Sayyiduna Ali radi Allahu anhu. This caused Sayyiduna Ali radi Allahu anhu great grief and sorrow, and he gave him the tidings of Hellfire.
