Hadith 11699

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the Trench, when the situation became severe, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Is there anyone who will go and bring news of Banu Qurayza? Upon hearing this, Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) went and found out their condition and returned. When the situation became difficult again, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said the same thing three times: Who is there who will go and find out the condition of Banu Qurayza? Each time, Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up and went. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every prophet has a disciple (hawari), and my disciple is Zubair.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The day of the Trench was a day of extreme fear, and a fierce wind was blowing, but Sayyiduna Zubair radi Allahu anhu did not wish to refrain from endangering his life upon the command of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. By "Hawari" is meant a special and sincere helper.
