Hadith 11648

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that on the night when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was taken on the Night Journey (Isra), he (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Paradise and heard a faint sound from one side of it. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: O Jibreel! What is this sound? He replied: This is Bilal, the muezzin. Then when he (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the people, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, Bilal has succeeded; I have seen this for him.
