Hadith 1164

عَنْ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْمُرُ عِنْدَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ اللَّيْلَةَ كَذَلِكَ فِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْ أَمْرِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to discuss the affairs of the Muslims at night with Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), and I would also be with them.
