It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: O Ubayy! I have been commanded by Allah Almighty to recite such-and-such Surah before you. I submitted: O Messenger of Allah! Has my name been mentioned in the presence of Allah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes. Abdullah bin Abza said to Sayyiduna Ubayy (may Allah be pleased with him): O Abu Mundhir! Were you pleased upon hearing this? He said: Why should I not be pleased, when Allah Almighty Himself has said: {قُلْبِفَضْلِاللّٰہِوَبِرَحْمَتِہِفَبِذٰلِکَفَلْتَفْرَحُوْاہُوَخَیْرٌمِمَّایَجْمَعُوْنَ} … O Prophet! Say to them that they should rejoice in the bounty of Allah and His mercy; that is better than what they accumulate of worldly wealth and possessions. (Since the Mutawatir recitation of the Holy Qur'an is "fal-yafrahu"), it is narrated from Imam Ahmad's shaykh Mu’ammal that I asked my shaykh Sufyan, is this recitation "fal-tafrahu" found in the hadith? He said: Yes.
