It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In this Ummah, there will be thirty Abdal like Allah's Khalil, Ibrahim (peace be upon him). When one of them passes away, Allah will replace him with another.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The singular of *abdal* is *badal*. It is commonly believed among people that in every era, Allah’s most intimate servants remain present upon the face of the earth. When one of them passes away, Allah, the Exalted, appoints another in his place as his successor. These close personalities are called *abdal*. However, this concept regarding the *abdal* is not established in any authentic hadith.
