It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I was with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a garden when a man came and greeted with salam. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Go and grant him permission to enter and give him the glad tidings of Paradise. I went to the door and saw that it was Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). I said to him: Yes, come inside and glad tidings of Paradise to you. He began to praise and glorify Allah until he sat down. After that, another man came and greeted with salam, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: Go and grant him permission to enter and give him the glad tidings of Paradise. I went to the door and it was Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). I said to him: Come inside and glad tidings of Paradise to you. He also praised and glorified Allah as he sat down. Then another man came and greeted with salam, so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: Go and grant him permission to enter and give him the glad tidings of Paradise, but this Paradise will be after a severe trial. I went and it was Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), I said to him: Come inside and glad tidings of Paradise to you, but it will be after a severe trial and test. So he said: O Allah! Grant me patience at that time, and he kept supplicating thus until he also sat down.
