It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was given a white mule as a gift. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) rode it, and Sayyiduna Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) was leading it. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: Recite. He said: O Messenger of Allah! What should I recite? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Recite {قُلْأَعُوذُبِرَبِّالْفَلَقِ}. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) repeated this surah until Sayyiduna Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) recited it. But when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw that I was not very pleased with this surah, he said: It seems you consider it insignificant. You have not recited a surah like this in prayer (meaning this is an unparalleled surah to be recited in prayer).
