It is narrated from Aswad, he says: I asked Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do at home. She said: He (peace and blessings be upon him) would help with the household work; when the time for prayer came, he would go for the prayer.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Although the Mothers of the Believers were the wives of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and held an extremely distinguished status among the entire Ummah, nevertheless, by the demands of human nature, disputes and displeasure typical of co-wives would sometimes arise among them as well. This is such a natural matter among women that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) would tolerate it with ease.
