Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the iqamah for prayer had been pronounced or the time for the iqamah had come, when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was having a discussion with his wives, and he (peace be upon him) was trying to separate them from one another. In the meantime, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived and said: O Messenger of Allah! Put dust in their mouths and proceed for the prayer.
