Hadith 11473

It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to travel, he would draw lots among his wives, and the one whose name was drawn, he would take her along. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would allocate for each of his wives her night and her day, but Sayyida Sawda (may Allah be pleased with her) was an exception to this, because she had gifted her day and night to Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). The purpose of Sayyida Sawda (may Allah be pleased with her) was to seek the pleasure of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
